Aadupuliyattam Movie Review: Aadupuliyattam is a 2016 Malayalam horror Movie, Which is directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam and Produced by Haseeb Haneef, Noushad Alathur under the banner of Grande Film Corporation. The movie Features Jayaram in the lead role. Actress Ramya Krishnan is coming back to the Malayalam industry through this Movie. The story and screenplay of this movie were written by Dinesh Palleth. Dinesh Pallath Wrote the story With two Male Lead role and Two Female Lead roles. The Principal photography and regular filming were started on 23rd November 2015 at Sreekrishna Temple, Thodupuzha in Kerala. Actor Jayaram joined on the same day. The Movie have locations in Palani, Kothamangalm, Alappuzha, and also in the forest areas of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The Movie was shotted with including all the beauties on the forest. There is a long number of Adivasi people living in the forest is also included in Aadupuliyattam.
Music: The soundtrack album and background score are composed by Ratheesh Vegha. The soundtrack album includes four tracks composed by Ratheesh, was released on 6th April 2016 by East Coast Audios. The release coincided with a promotional event held at the Adlux International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Angamaly, Kochi.
The Live Consert by Ratheesh Vega Music Band was the main attraction along with the audio launch of the film. The four songs are 1.Vaalmuna Kannile, 2.Karuppana Kannazhaki, 3.Chilum Chilum, 4.Manja Kattil Pokande. All lyrics of these four songs are written by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, Mohan Rajan, Harinarayanan.

Story/Plot: The Story of this movie is based on a myth that is supposed to have taken place 600 years back. King Udayapandyan rules some provinces of Tamilnadu, 600 years back. He falls in love with a huntress named Mathangi (Ramya Krishnan), marries her and builds a bungalow for her near the forest. When Udayapandyan is defeated in a war he takes shelter at Mathangi’s bungalow. Mathangi vows to take care of the King.
She sacrifices her life to save the life of King Udayapandyan. Then Mathangi’s spirit continues to stay on in the premises and a yogi (Om Puri) does pujas to rein in the spirit.
