Kaali Venkat is proving to be a character artist of substance and is a part of many interesting ventures. His recent outing as Ritika Singh’s onscreen dad in Irudhu Suttru was much appreciated.
The talented actor has completed Kodi with Dhanush where he plays Dhanush’s friend. He says, “I play Dhanush’s friend role in the film. It is a pivotal character which will not be like the usual hero’s friend. Saranya plays Dhanush’s mom and she will also be like a mom to me in the film. There will be humor, sentiment and all types of emotions in it. The film will sure be liked by everyone”.
Kodi is directed by Durai Senthilkumar and has Trisha and Anumpama Parameswaran as lady leads with Venkatesh’s camera and Santhosh Narayanan’s music. The film was completed some time back and is in post-production phase now.
